i feel as though its already so obvious. pokke is such a bright light that drags everyone in and is filled with so much love. shes known for her extremely confident "i will prove i am the strongest!" highstrung bloodracer personality and WELL. she is exactly that and i know what everyone will say about it okay its utterly devastatingly PREDICTABLE even i feel ashamed! but what is underestimated about her is how she has the strongest relationships connected to her for a reason and its her unyielding love it could burst into flames. she truly represents a prism that reflects all the bright light of inspiration that she absorbs into something much more magical in the string of events in boane. i love that every single goal she had even if she wanted to prove herself to be strong is anchored in a lot of the people she admired and loved — she races not just for proof of her own strength but for fuji who she wanted to carry the legacy of after seeing her strength, for nabe who couldnt be a derby trainer and wanted to make those dreams come true, for tachyon who she clearly saw as a rival and a tough opponent and wanted to be in equal grounds with and saw the beauty in her racing too so much so that she wants to surpass it.

i love that the fact that she has pushed through so much because of them to the point she has also pulled them back up. she was able to rekindle fuji's love for racing and fulfill nabe's dreams altogether. she rekindled tachyons love for racing and in fact served as the hard hitting reflection to her constant forceful disassociation of succumbing to her love for racing: the greatest reminder that she will be haunted of "what if"s once she didn't continue like she did, she came into her space just to be able to try one last time if she could pull her back into the turf with her and even if she was turned down at first she would not hesitate to be honest that she will wait if she plans to change her mind because in the end no matter if she races without her now she will still be her biggest rival shed love to defeat. she manages to make dantsu feel like she should try even harder and harder too and want to catch up to her one day. i love that even in the game version she would treat her trainer as her partner rather than just her trainer, and is continuously showing so much for her life and her real self to us as though we are indeed her partner and closest friend and not just someone there to take her to bigger heights. she races for herself and for others and its what makes her whole which in of itself is the amazing progression that completes her arc, since these traits altogether are the hidden strengths and flaws of her narrative that everyone forgets in boane.

to see her bloodracer borderline self-centered (while not necessarily narcissistic, but rather prideful and single-minded one track mind) goals and perception of self worth as well as that commitment she has to others around her from nabe to fuji and tachyon finally clash and get challenged the moment she feels the weight of it after her losses and losing her rival that she wants to surpass and feeling as though she "has lost the point of racing" is so important to me (A lot to Say about the poketaki narrative and how they have shown each other a new definition to racing and self worth, but thats for next time). the way she changes in this arc and realizes that what's important is to go on ahead no matter how afraid you might be or else you'll lose to yourself and redefines the way she can deem herself as strong without having to worry about the Titles as heavily before is the most beautiful thing to an Impostor Syndrome ridden person like me.i love that she wouldn't look down on anything for long as long as she's been proven wrong and dive in without regret even in the littlest things it almost comes across as naive (from being a willing participant to tachyons schemes despite being turned off and skeptical by them at first time and time again, from making fun of officiated races only to be so inspired by fuji kiseki that she ate her words up and let herself be motivated by it instead to join the twinkle series). but even she has her own fears and even hit rock bottom and felt like she was nothing but weak — she doesn't even realize she chose to keep on going.she comes right back up after shes reminded of the people that has inspired and taken care of her first, and all she needs is a hard hitting reminder of it. and thats to say: shes transparent and extremely bad at lying and hiding her true feelings, but that makes her all the more endearing because that means everything she says is truth.

almost everything she says is just full of love and drive for the people around her; its blinding, its raw, its unyielding, it's NOISY, it's loud, but it's also dulcet and warm. she is the kind of person i want to be inspired by and the kind of person i want to be when it comes to staying determined - i would never be like her in lots of ways; im not cool nor self assured in the way she is but i want to have faith in my strength like she does.she's absolutely STUPID, shes bad at english, kind, loving, easily excitable to the point of naivety, amusing, achingly positive, determined, brave to a fault, needs to be banned from all parfait stores, infuriatingly handsome and also undeniably pretty all at once despite being so rough around the edges, i love her all for it and truly, truly wouldnt have it any other way.because of pokke, i'll do everything scared, and know that it's going to be okay. that's how you know you're moving forward, anyway.
